plans, organizes, directs and controls the administrative activities of the municipality with reference to the laws and regulations governing his duties and obligations;
provides support to the Municipal Council in the administration of the municipality;
oversees the implementation of the Council’s orientations and the achievement of its mission;
leads discussions on various major strategic issues;
submits various reports and recommendations to the Council to ensure implementation of measures aimed at providing management that is effective, efficient and economic;
promotes the growth of the municipality and the well-being of residents and local businesses;
represents the interests of the municipality with the higher authorities.
