Community Kitchens at the Centre Lac-Brome
We are in the process of setting up community kitchens at the Centre Lac-Brome. We plan to have daytime groups and after-work groups, depending on the demand.

What’s a community kitchen?
It’s a group of people who meet on a regular basis to prepare meals together which they then can take home.
Who can join?
Community kitchens are open to everyone.

How does it work?
Different groups work in different ways, depending on the needs of the members.
Often, groups will meet twice a month: once to plan recipes and to make a shopping list, and once to cook.
Groups can use the Centre Lac-Brome’s kitchen and cooking equipment.
How much does it cost?
How much does it cost?
The cost of ingredients is shared between the members, according to how many portions each person will take. The cost per portion is usually about $1.
