The advisory planning committee (APC) is a consultative and non-decision-making committee. Nonetheless, it plays an undeniable role in the Town’s planning and administration mission, for which the APC’s role has become extremely important as regards the planning and administration of the municipal territory.
brings the citizen closer to planning issues because the committee is mandated by the municipal council to give advice on the urban planning and development applications submitted to it.
The APC is governed by By-law 612, adopted in accordance with the enabling powers conferred on the Town by section 146 of an Act respecting land use planning and development. This By-law establishes the number of members, the length of their term of office and the committee’s mandate.
Councillor Robert Laflamme chairs the Committee.
