Burning Permit Application Form

Whenever you wish to make an open fire whether it is a campfire or to burn branches on your land, you MUST apply for a fire permit. Any open fire without a permit is liable to a fine.

During certain times of the year when the risk of fire is high, you may not be able to obtain a permit.

The burning permit application is the official document used by the Fire Departments of Brome Lake to authorize burning combustible materials.

Make sure that you do the following: consult the safety index of SOPFEU on their website http://sopfeu.qc.ca

: If safety index is yelloworange ou redno permit will be issued

The items marked with asterisk * are mandatory.
  • Identification of the applicant

  • Phone number of the person responsible who is on the site of the fire
  • Required for confirmation of permit
  • Identification of the site in question in the application

  • Civic number, street
  • The permit is valid for a maximum period of 24 hours.
  • Applicant's declaration and signature
