Tourist Information Officer

Under the supervision of the Tourism Coordinator, the officer performs various tasks related to welcoming and informing visitors to the region, particularly at the Brome Lake Tourist Information Centre and at the site of various events in the territory. Must be able to communicate in French and English.Full-time position (between 30 and 40 hrs/week) with a variable schedule, especially on weekends beginning in mid-May and ending in mid-October.

Parking Attendant - Public Market
Under the supervision of the market coordinator, the attendant ensures the proper operation of the parking lot at the Brome Lake public market.Part-time position (4-5 hrs/week) on Saturday mornings from early June to mid-October.

Salamander Summer Day Camp - Facilitator
Under the supervision of the camp coordinator, the facilitator plans, prepares and leads different activities for his or her group of children. He ensures the supervision and safety of the group throughout the summer. DAFA and first aid training is an asset. Must be able to communicate in French and English.
8-week position, full-time (35-40 hrs/week) Monday to Friday from the end of June to mid-August.

Salamander Summer Day Camp - Attendant/shadow
Under the supervision of the camp coordinator, the attendant ensures and promotes the integration of one or more children living with different problems that may complicate their participation in day camp activities. Training in accompaniment and/or intervention is an asset. Must be able to communicate in French and English.
8-week position, full-time (35 hrs/week) Monday to Friday from the end of June to mid-August.

Douglass Beach - Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Recreation and Community Life Coordinator, the Beach Coordinator oversees the daily operations of Douglass Beach and supervises the lifeguard team in addition to performing lifeguard duties. Must hold a valid NLS/Pool and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certificate. Must be able to communicate in both English and French.
Nine-week position, full-time (40 hrs/week) from mid-June to mid-August.

Douglass Beach - Lifeguard
Under the supervision of the beach coordinator, the lifeguard ensures the surveillance and safety of the users of Douglass Beach. He also performs various maintenance tasks to ensure that the site is adequate for visitors. Must hold a valid SNS-Beach/Pool certificate. Must be able to communicate in both French and English.
8-week, full-time (35-40 hrs/week) position from late June to mid-August.

Douglass Beach - Swimming Instructor
The swimming instructor teaches small groups of children. Full-time position combined with lifeguard time blocks to complete the task. Must hold a Red Cross Swimming Instructor Certificate and a SNS-Beach/Swimming Pool in good standing. Must be able to communicate in both French and English.
8-week, full-time (35-40 hrs/week) position from late June to mid-August.

Public Works Attendant - Student position
Under the supervision of the Director of Public Works and Technical Services, the student performs various tasks related to the public works of the municipality.Temporary full-time position (40 hrs/week) from Monday to Friday for a period of 16 weeks beginning in May.
