A donation appreciated by the community!

Two local cultural organizations received great news this month. A resident of Brome Lake for nearly two decades, Susan Davies made a substantial donation to the Knowlton Literary Festival and to Knowlton Players. Here is a short note explaining this overflow of generosity:

“I will soon be leaving Knowlton, and in the 17 years that I have lived in Lac-Brome my life has been enriched by the work of many volunteers in the community, and by the Literature course offered by Philip Lanthier at the Knowlton Campus of Bishops University. Regarding the volunteers, in particular I have appreciated the talent of the Knowlton Players and the workers for the Knowlton Literary Festival, and I thank them all. ”

She now wishes to encourage others to do the same.

On behalf of everyone, thank you for your commitment to the community!
