COVID-19: Town Services Update

Here’s what the new government measures, which will run until February 8, mean for your municipal services.
  • Parks and recreation facilities, including skating rinks, sliding areas and the dog park: open from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Certain rules must be respected, including the banning of hockey games on the rinks and maintaining a physical distance of 2 metres, except for family bubbles.
  • Municipal buildings: closed. A minimum number of employees will be present to continue providing services, while other workers will be working from home. It is possible to reach the Town Hall (450 243-6111 or reception@ville.lac-brome.qc.ca) and the Centre Lac-Brome (450 242-2020 or infoloisirs@ville.lac-brome.qc.ca).
  • Our Public Works, Fire and First Responder teams: continue to provide the same level of service. They will implement health measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
  • Monthly Council meetings: closed to the public until further notice. They will, however, be recorded and posted on our Facebook page and website. For the next meeting (January 11), you have until noon Monday to send your questions and comments to the Town Clerk, Mr. Owen Falquero, by e-mail at owen.falquero@ville.lac-brome.qc.ca.
