The Republic of Sarah Production Crew is Back
The filming of The Republic of Sarah is back in Brome Lake for the next three days.
- Therefore, a portion of Knowlton Road (between Maple and de la Bourgade) as well as the section of Lakeside Road between Victoria Street and Knowlton Road will be closed intermittently on Sunday, January 24 from noon to 6 pm, Monday, January 25 from 7 am to 8 pm and Tuesday, January 26 from 8 am to 8 pm. Flagmen will direct motorists. Access to businesses and residences will be permitted at all times.
- Traffic will also be intermittently blocked (no more than three minutes at a time) on a portion of St. Paul Street (between Lakeside and Edgehill) on Sunday, January 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- During this period (January 24 to 26), production vehicles will be parked at the Victoria/Knowlton intersection, in the municipal parking lot (Lakeside), at the Knowlton Pub and on Victoria and Edgehill streets.
Please note that the provincial health authorities allow filming. Strict protocols are in place within the production team to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Most of the filming is to be done on private property. The producers assured the town that they will also take measures to limit the access from residents to the sets.
We thank you for your collaboration.
