Tips to remember during a heat wave

NOTICE

Brome Lake, June 29, 2018 – With the arrival of an intense heat wave that is expected to cover Quebec for several days, the Town of Brome Lake wishes to share some tips to stay cool.

  • It is essential to be well-hydrated adults should drink between six and eight glasses of water a day.
  • You must stay cool spend at least two hours a day in an air-conditioned environment.
  • It is recommended to reduce activities and physical efforts practised outside especially between 10 am and 3 pm.

If you wish to cool off, Douglass beach is accessible from 10 am to 6 pm.
