Here is an overview of closed or impassable roads:
Lakeside Road between the old golf course and Victoria: open
Lakeside Road between the old golf course and Highway 10: closed
Fulford Road: still closed between Papineau and Brome
Draper Road: a portion remains inaccessible
Stagecoach Road between Barnes and Wells: open in a few minutes
Chemin Papineau: open
The railways are closed until further notice, as some rails have been damaged.
Although power has returned to several homes, Hydro-Québec teams continue to work for the many customers who are still without power. However, the branches on the cables can cause further interruptions. This map gives you more information about failures.
Reminder: the Centre Lac-Brome is open until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Sunday. You will have access to a heated area, Wifi and coffee. You can also take a shower (but bring your personal stuff).
The last few hours have been quite demanding for our teams. We would like to salute our firefighters, first responders and public works personnel who are working tirelessly to restore the situation.
Thank you dear citizens, for your patience and understanding!
