This voice and piano recital showcases works from the 19th-century German and French repertoire, featuring composers such as Mahler, Schubert, Schumann, and Fauré, culminating with select compositions from the 20th century. 

Jingjing Xu, mezzo-soprano : 

Praised as "One to Watch," Jingjing Xu is a mezzo-soprano from China with a diverse and multi-facetted repertoire. After graduating from McGill University with her master's degree in 2023, she won the 2024 edition of the prestigious Mirjam Helin Competition as its youngest participant. She also won McGill's premier singing competition, the Wirth Vocal Prize, in 2022, the largest voice prize offered by a Canadian university.
