Welcome Baby Program
As part of the new Family and Seniors Policy, the Town of Brome Lake is pleased to celebrate the arrival of its newborns.
These new residents, under six months old, are therefore eligible to receive a small gift from the Town!
Kit contents
As part of this program, 40 welcome kits are available (20 in French and 20 in English).
Each kit includes:
- A waterproof bag (wet bag)
- A book by Marianne Dubuc (Que veux-tu, petite mouche?)
- A tummy time mirror book
- A rattle
Who's eligible?
Any child youger than 6 months old, who resides in Lac-Brome.
The application must be submitted before the child is six months old.
Required documents
Proof of residence in Brome Lake for the parent
Driver’s license, tax bill, Hydro-Québec bill, etc.
Baby’s birth certificate

It is also possible to submit a request by phone to Claire Citeau at 450-242-2020.
Picking up your kit
Once the status of your order has been confirmed by email, you can pick up your kit at the Lac-Brome Centre (270 Victoria Street), during business hours.
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
