Boat Cleaning Station Attendant
Brome Lake is very sensitive to disturbances. Increased recreational use combined with climate change threatens the integrity of water quality and biodiversity. Awareness and education are the key to ensuring positive behavioural changes. As an attendant at the boat cleaning station, you will play a crucial role in protecting the environment and mitigating climate change.
Job description
Your main responsibilities include:
- Train recreational users to use the self-service wash station
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the station
- Raise awareness among recreational users of the importance of cleaning boats and promote responsible navigation.
Skills
- Customer service experience
- Autonomy, resourcefulness and a sense of responsibility
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to remain calm and demonstrate firmness and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of English is an asset
- Be a good communicator and have an interest in educating the population
Schedule and conditions
A 40-hour position to be filled between May 1st and August 22, 2026.
Work from Wednesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Possibility to vary the hours according to customer traffic.
Salary: $18.36/hour.
