The Centre Lac-Brome is not currently available to rent for private parties. However, the Centre can be used by community groups or individuals hosting regular activities, fundraisers or other special events which are open to the public.

Using the Centre
The Centre Lac-Brome has rooms available for use by the community. We encourage you to take advantage of the facilities here for activities, fundraisers or special events, or for weekly or monthly meetings. Local groups or individuals hosting activities open to the local population are welcome to use the Centre for free. We do ask that you book the room in advance to be sure that it is available for you.

Equipment
We also have equipment available for your use, including tables and chairs and audio-visual equipment such as projectors and microphones. Please note that you (or your group) are responsible for setting up and taking down the room.

Session Dates

Fall: from the 2nd Monday of September to the 3rd Sunday of December

Winter: from the 2nd Monday of January to the Sunday before the 1st Monday of April (closed during March break)

Spring: from the 1st Monday of April to the 2nd Sunday of June

Summer: from the Monday following the end of the spring session to the Sunday before the start of the fall session

Annual Booking (priority for renewals)

Opening and processing: 3 months before the start of the fall session

Confirmation: at least 2 months before the start of the fall session

Session-Based Booking

Seasonal renewal: 3 months before the start of the session

Confirmation: at least 2 months before the start of the session

Open to all: from the confirmation date until the end of the session, subject to availability

Summer

No new weekday bookings (except for already confirmed annual bookings).

Closures

Holiday Season: December 24 to the first Monday of January

Easter: Easter Sunday and Easter Monday

National Patriots' Day (Monday preceding May 25)

Saint-Jean-Baptiste (June 24)

Canada Day (July 1)

Labour Day (1st Monday of September) 

Thanksgiving (2nd Monday of October) 

The Town reserves the right at all times to prioritize the use of its rooms for its operational needs, municipal activities, and events, over any other booking, and may cancel a booking at any time if necessary.

To reserve a room at the Centre Lac-Brome, a reservation request form must be completed in advance. The request is subject to the Town’s approval.

This room, which combines Buchanan Rooms 1 and 2, features large windows overlooking the park, a cathedral ceiling, and direct access to the terrace. The room is equipped with an integrated sound system, a large screen, and a projector.

Available equipment:

• 10 round tables (6 ft diameter) and 2 round tables (5 ft diameter)
• 20 rectangular tables (6 ft)
• 6 square tables (3 ft x 3 ft)
• 162 chairs
• Audiovisual equipment (projector, screen, sound system) – please bring the appropriate AV connection cables based on the device you will be using to project sound or images (photos or videos).

The grand hall can be divided into two smaller rooms. A small kitchenette with a sink and refrigerator is adjacent to the Buchanan 1 Hall.

• 20 rectangular tables (6 ft)
• 6 square tables (3 ft x 3 ft)

Large, well-lit space featuring a hook system for hanging framed artwork and a wall-mounted screen for viewing slide shows.  Please note that during the rental period, other people may pass through the lobby to join their own group.

A more intimate space, suitable for both meetings and activities. A 85'' screen is available in this room.

• 4 tables (6 ft x 2 ft) (and others to complete an island setup) (see room photos)
• 21 chairs
• 85'' TV – please bring the appropriate AV connection cables based on the device you will be using to display content on the TV.

This room offers all the amenities needed for meetings, small activities, or classes. It is equipped with a whiteboard and a 75'' TV.

Fully equipped and renovated, it offers enough space to accommodate cooking classes, community kitchens, or to prepare food for activities taking place in other rooms at the Centre. An access door connects Buchanan Hall 2 to the Kitchen.
