Transfer of Soccer Activity Management to the Club Sportif de Lac-Brome (NPO)

The Town of Brome Lake announces the transfer of the management of soccer activities, previously overseen by the Recreation, Culture, Tourism and Community Life Department, to a non-profit organization (NPO): the Club Sportif de Lac-Brome.

This change aims to ensure the sustainability and development of soccer activities in Brome Lake, while maintaining close collaboration with the Town, particularly regarding the use of infrastructures and support for activity coordination.

An Information Meeting Open to All

To present the transition process, answer questions, and share details about the upcoming season, Brome Lake residents are invited to attend an information session bringing together current members of the Club Sportif de Lac-Brome as well as representatives from the Town of Brome Lake.

  • Date: February 16, 2026, at 7 p.m.
  • Location: Centre Lac-Brome (Buchanan Hall)
  • Who's invited? Parents, players, coaches, volunteers, and anyone interested
  • Format: Presentation + Q&A period

During this meeting, information will be shared regarding:

  • The structure and mission of the Club Sportif de Lac-Brome
  • How the upcoming season will operate
  • Registration dates, fees, age categories, preliminary schedule, and season start
  • The Club’s financial needs (donations and sponsorships)
  • Volunteer needs and opportunities for involvement as a Club member
  • Continuity of Activities and the Town’s Commitment

The Town of Brome Lake emphasizes that this transfer is part of an ongoing effort to maintain and enhance sports offerings. Soccer remains an important activity in the community, and collaboration between the Town and the Club will help support its continued development.
